We are a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to:
-
Promoting the continuation of a venerable
folk art form
-
Providing a creative and supportive
meeting place for our members and visitors
-
Improving the techniques of our members
through continuing education programs
-
Informing the public about the art of rug
hooking through demonstrations and rug shows
We are delighted to join with other ATHA
Chapters and Guilds to sponsor local workshops and participate in fiber art
exhibitions.
The Spring Lake, N.J. Chapter of ATHA
meets from 10AM to 2PM on the second Monday of each month from September
through May at St. Andrew's Methodist Church, which is located at Fourth and
West Lake Avenues in Spring Lake, N.J.
We
have members who have been rug hooking for decades as well as members who
have just begun. We encourage guests and invite you to come, ask questions,
and see us practicing this art and craft.
